FEE STRUCTURE
Marden's compensation is based on an agreed upon hourly fee with each client. Marden's Consulting serves numerous clients and there is never duplicate billing as "the clock" is only running for one client at a time. The hourly approach also allows clients to contact Marden most any time for "service". Clients are billed for the duration of the services rendered to the nearest tenth of an hour. Marden also has and does work under retainer agreements.
Hourly fees are client specific based on (1) the annual sales volume of the client's business and (2) the level of skill required to perform the task. In other words, a smaller business can hire the same level of service from Marden's as a larger business, BUT, at a lower hourly fee. General Consulting (managerial, program development, and technical) is billed at the highest rate, Computer Services billed in the middle, and Administrative Services (e.g. data entry or cleansing of data) are billed at the lowest rate.
All out of pocket expenses related to the client's business are billed for reimbursement with all receipts provided. Travel time is billed port-to-port for travel outside a 25 mile radius of Marden's home office at one-half the cost of the highest houlry rate. A detailed invoice is sent at the close of each month with terms of 15 days.
Billing to clients only begins when a mutually agreed upon fee structure and scope of services have been established.
